Notes
Designed for car radio use — heater can be operated in parallel from AC, or two tubes in series from a 12 V battery.
Heater current is only 200 mA (1.26 W heater power), making it very efficient for battery operation.
μg2g1 = 17; cutoff voltage (at Ig1 = +0.3 μA) is -1.3 V at the typical operating point.
Class A at Va=200V: Ia=23 mA, Rk=230 Ω, Pout=2.3 W at 12% THD; at Va=250V: Ia=24 mA, Rk=320 Ω, Pout=3.0 W at 12% THD.
Class AB push-pull (2 tubes) at Va=250V, Raa=10 kΩ delivers 7 W.
Class B push-pull (2 tubes) at Va=250V, Raa=10 kΩ delivers 6.5 W.
Triode-strapped data from Schlangen (2009): μ = 15, gm = 5 mA/V, ra = 3 kΩ.
