Notes
- General Electric product information, November 1969. Compactron 12-pin base (E12-70, button) with small top cap (C1-1) for cathode. Outline EIA 9-101.
- Coated unipotential cathode with diffusion bonding. T-9 glass envelope. Any mounting position.
- Heater voltage 19V AC or DC, heater current 0.6 +/- 0.04 A. Heater warm-up time approximately 11 seconds.
- Interelectrode capacitances (approx., without external shield): cathode-to-plate-and-heater (k to p+h) 21 pF, plate-to-cathode-and-heater (p to k+h) 13 pF, heater-to-cathode (h to k) 1.7 pF.
- Peak heater-cathode voltage: heater positive — 100V DC, 300V total DC and peak; heater negative — 900V DC, 5000V total DC and peak.
- Tube voltage drop at Ib=700 mA DC (approximate): 25V.
- Pins 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 are internal connections — do not use. Pins 3 and 11 are no connection.
- Color TV type — designed for higher-current color deflection circuits.
