Notes
Indirectly heated (unipotential cathode) — provides controlled warm-up and reduced stress on filter capacitors compared to directly-heated rectifiers.
Capacitor-input filter requires minimum series resistance (Rt) that increases with capacitor value: 50 ohm for 16 µF, 100 ohm for 32 µF, 150 ohm for 60 µF.
Maximum DC output current depends on operating mode and AC input voltage: 300 mA at 2x300V (C-input), 250 mA at 2x350V (C-input), 125 mA at 2x500V (C-input), or up to 300 mA at 2x400V (choke-input).
The 5V4G/5V4GA is the American equivalent. Pin-compatible and electrically identical, though some American datasheets rate max DC output at 175 mA (capacitor-input) vs the Philips 125–300 mA rating which varies by applied voltage.
52KU is the Cossor designation for the same tube.
