Notes
The 6922/E88CC is the special-quality long-life version of the ECC88/6DJ8. Tighter parameter tolerances and guaranteed 10,000-hour life vs standard ECC88.
CCa is the Telefunken premium-grade designation for the same tube (E88CC/6922/CCa).
7308/E188CC is an even higher reliability grade with tighter specs — can substitute for 6922 but not vice versa.
ECC88/6DJ8 is the standard commercial version — electrically identical but with wider tolerances and shorter rated life. Can substitute for 6922 in non-critical applications.
Fixed grid bias is only permitted when Ia <= 5 mA. For normal operating currents, cathode bias (self-bias) is required.
Max Pa is 1.5 W per section, but may be increased to 1.8 W per section provided total dissipation of both sections does not exceed 2 W.
This is a low-voltage tube — typical operating points are Va = 90-150 V, much lower than conventional dual triodes like 12AX7 or 12AU7.
Pin 9 is an internal shield between the two triode sections.
