Notes
Special quality (S-suffix) tube: tighter manufacturing tolerances, longer burn-in, and more critical testing than standard ECC82.
Guaranteed life of 10,000 hours (averaged over 100 tubes), provided heater voltage is held within +/-5% of nominal.
Vibration and shock proof: withstands 2.5g at 50 Hz for lengthy periods and 500g momentary shocks.
Cathode free from interface: the special cathode will not develop interface resistance even when operated without plate current over lengthy periods.
Max grid resistor depends on bias method: 1 MΩ for cathode (automatic) bias, 0.5 MΩ for fixed bias.
Heater cycling rated for at least 2,000 on/off cycles (1 min on, 1 min off) at Uf=7.5V, Uf/k(k neg)=135V.
Originally manufactured by Telefunken and Tesla. JJ Electronic currently produces the ECC802S with identical electrical ratings.
